About EventWorks

EventWorks is made up of SIM students who independently create, curate, and produce cutting-edge events throughout the academic year. Students in the SIM department are given the freedom to create, produce, and collaborate through a transformative, interdisciplinary lens.

As a fully student-run production team, EventWorks is responsible for all aspects of programming and execution—including curation, technical direction, production management, publicity, audience development, and communications.

Because the collective operates within SIM, students have access to professional-grade equipment, interdisciplinary faculty support, and flexible performance spaces across campus, including the Pozen Center for Interrelated Media.

As a student-run collective at the only public college of art and design in the country, EventWorks strives to build connection through shared creative experience—rebuilding community one event at a time.
