Ashley Buckeridge

BFA-Fashion Design ’25
Double Edge Theatre, Ashfield, MA

Ashley is pictured dressing an actor in a centaur costume for a production at Double Edge Theatre. Her internship involved a range of responsibilities in the costume shop, including building costumes from scratch, alterations, repairs, and maintenance. She also gained experience in measuring, working with performers, machine and hand sewing, designing, and working with shoes and wigs. Additionally, Ashley assisted with front-of-house theatre duties during performances. She hopes to pursue a career in costuming, primarily for theatre. Photo by Tadea Klein.
Lucius Mitton

BFA-SIM ’25
Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, Boston, MA

Lucius assisted with space management, project coordination, event preparation, file archiving, and marketing strategy brainstorming during their internship with the Abigail Ogilvy Gallery, a contemporary art gallery in Boston representing emerging and mid-career artists. Lucius noted that this experience shaped their aspirations of organizing their own exhibitions in the future. Photo by Anna Staton.
Brian Ferreria

BFA-Industrial Design ’25
AVI Boston, Boston, MA

Brian’s internship was with AVI Boston, a bespoke automotive innovation service. The company specializes in the latest technology and styles for custom upgrades. They can add new components to a car system or have it rebuilt from the ground up. Brian gained hands-on experience with tools like a CNC mill and Onshape CAD software. Here he is using a 3D scanner to capture clear, readable, and fully detailed images of vehicles for project development. Photo by Matt Meyers
Sophia Kasparian

BFA-SIM & Glass ’25
Ross Art Studio, Boston, MA

Sophia is shown reinforcing a large mold for lost wax kiln casting by applying fiberglass over mesh netting, a key step in preparing the mold to endure 1400-degree kiln temperatures and support nearly 50 pounds of molten glass. Her internship with Ross Art Studio, which specializes in custom glass design and fabrication services, included assisting with mold making, cold-working, kiln casting, fusing, and slumping.
