Evening and Weekend Parking

Paid evening parking is available in the Wentworth Parker lot, at the corner of Parker and Prentiss Streets, for $30 per evening assigned for the semester. If your class meets one night each week, the fee is $30 for the semester. If you attend classes two nights per week, the fee is $60 per semester.

The Parker Street lot is about a five minute walk from campus and a free shuttle van operates from 7:00am - 11:00pm weekdays. There is no shuttle on weekends. If you miss the last shuttle you can request transportation from the Public Safety office (on the first floor of the North Building, next to the tower building on Evans Way. There is a blue light outside the door) or by calling 617.879.7810.

Paid evening parking is also available in our Ward Street lot, behind the Artists' Residence for $50 per evening assigned for the semester. If your class meets one night each week the fee is $50 for the semester. If you attend classes two nights per week, the fee is $100 per semester.

During the week, both lots are available to Continuing Education students after 5:00pm, and all day on weekends.

All evening students are able to park in the Ward lot and register in the Parking Office on the first evening of class. After the first evening of class, you must park in your assigned lot. The Parking Office will be open until 6:30pm on the first night of Monday through Thursday evening classes.

Winter Intercession

Parking is available during Winter Intersession (the first two weeks of January) and for weekend workshops. Please contact the Capstone Management office on the first floor of the Artists' Residence or at 617.879.5103 for information and an application.

Applying for Parking

To obtain parking in either lot you must complete the appropriate application form and bring it with your course schedule and MassArt ID card to the Artists' Residence Management Office (Room 120 • parking@massart.edu • 617.879.5103).

The Parking Office accepts scanned applications and class schedules by email and the Office is open Monday - Friday 9:00am–5:00pm.

If you have not received your course schedule prior to your first class you may obtain one in the Continuing Education office on the first floor of the Artists' Residence Building.

Questions?

The Continuing Education office is open Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm.

If you have a lot of materials to bring to class, you may drop them off outside the public safety office (park on Evans Way) and pick them up when you return from parking.
