Noriyoshi Needle, BFA ’10 Studio for Interrelated Media, is transforming a 100-year-old abandoned house in Japan into an artist residency called Kiwama. The project reflects Needle’s commitment to creating collaborative creative spaces that bridge cultures and support artists worldwide. Raised in Worcester and shaped by his experiences in New England arts communities, Needle hopes the residency will foster cross-cultural exchange and artistic experimentation.
