MassArt Alum Bridey McGlynn Featured on GBH’s Community Canvas

Artwork by MassArt alum Bridey McGlynn, MFA ’25 2D Fine Art, is featured on WGBH’s Community Canvas digital mural. The abstract piece layers layers drawings of herself, building and destroying the image into something unrecognizable.

“In working with my body, my practice unexpectedly became an investigation of the materials I was using to create my subject as much as the subject itself,” McGlynn says. “The materiality of paint, charcoal, and ink create endless possibilities to build my own visual language.”
