Our Commitment to Accessibility

At MassArt, we believe the power of art and design should be accessible to everyone. We are committed to creating digital experiences that are welcoming, inclusive, and usable for all, empowering creators, students, and community members of all abilities to fully engage with our work.

Our accessibility efforts are guided by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), with a goal of meeting or exceeding WCAG 2.1 Level AA, the technical accessibility standard established under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Digital accessibility is an ongoing responsibility. As our website and digital content evolve, we continue to identify and remove barriers and incorporate accessibility into our design, development, and content practices.

What We’re Doing

To support and improve the accessibility of MassArt.edu, we:

• Monitor the website regularly for accessibility issues and work to remediate identified barriers.
• Conduct automated and manual accessibility testing, including expert accessibility audits.
• Review and improve website content, design, and functionality based on accessibility standards and user feedback.
• Incorporate accessibility into ongoing website maintenance, development, and content updates.
• Work with digital accessibility experts, including Accessible Web, to evaluate our website and support ongoing remediation and improvement.
