This fall, the MassArt Art Museum will present the work of the college’s talented alumni to present a meditation on the importance of authentic expression in the healing process. “The Myth of Normal: A Celebration of Authentic Expression” is inspired by the work of Dr. Gabor Maté and Daniel Matés, who argue that engaging with art is an essential part of one’s wellness and art-making is a critical mode of self-expression.
