As the nation gears up for its 250th anniversary, Boston is preparing its own celebration embracing the fuller narrative of the city.
“We want to talk about the incredibly complex and beautiful, interesting place that Boston is,” said Emily Foster Day, who is executive director of the MassArt Foundation and one of five co-chairs of Everyone250, ahead of the unveiling. “The goal of E250 is to celebrate all the ways that Boston is a rich, historical, wonderful place. We’re more than just sports and Harvard.”
