Boston Globe: A sampling of Boston’s upcoming public art Triennial

A Boston Globe article previewing the upcoming inaugural Boston Public Art Triennial, features the innovative work of MassArt-affiliated artists Andy Li, BFA ’12, Evelyn Rydz (Studio Foundation Chair), Gabriel Sosa (Art Education faculty),  and Stephen Hamilton (Illustration faculty). Also highlighted is the work from Alaska-based artist Nicholas Galanin that will be shown at the MassArt Art Museum.

“A cluster of pieces in the Fenway signal museum participation in the Triennial, a key to its visibility…Nicholas Galanin‘s “I think it goes like this (pick yourself up),” an eight-foot-tall part-Lingit Native American, part-Transformers bronze figure in the process of assembling itself is at the MassArt Museum.”
