If you are having thoughts of suicide, impulses to hurt yourself or someone else, or if you have just been a victim of violence (including sexual violence), the Counseling and Wellness Center is available Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm on the second floor of Kennedy and at 617.879.7760, press 2. The 24/7 MartyAid support line is always available at 617.879.7760, press 1. For on-campus emergencies, call MassArt Public Safety at 617.879.7800. For off-campus emergencies, call 911 or go to the nearest hospital emergency room.


Sexual VIOLENCE / ASSAULT 

If you or a friend has experienced sexual violence / assault, it is important that you receive medical and psychological care as soon as possible. Contact Public Safety at 617.879.7800 or Counseling and Wellness at 617.879.7760, press 2 for additional support, guidance, and resources.

Free MENTAL HEALTH & Wellness Resources

MassArt offers MartyAid (Christie Campus Health) to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. MartyAid provides all students with immediate, 24-hour support at no cost, and regardless of health insurance. Students can speak with a licensed counselor directly from their phone from any location.

Student Services Include:

  • Immediate 24/7 support available by phone 
  • Up to 6 free in person or telehealth appointments per year
  • Access to an online prescribing clinic (with referral from the Counseling and Wellness Center)
  • Personal Navigators - free case management services to assist with off-campus referrals and other needs such as housing, food, etc.
  • Free mindfulness and meditation app, Headspace Sign up for a free headspace account.
  • Free self-guided online mental health and wellness program SilverCloud - Sign up for a free SilverCloud account.
  • Wellness Hub and CampusWell app include articles and videos on various health and wellness topics - To access the Wellness Hub go to martyaid.com or download the CampusWell app.

The Steve Fund 
Is dedicated to the mental health and emotional well-being of students of color. The organization offers expert resources regarding mental health and students of color. The Steve Fund has created a special keyword, STEVE, that young people of color can text to 741741 to connect with a trained crisis counselor
