If you are having thoughts of suicide, impulses to hurt yourself or someone else or if you have just been a victim of violence or a sexual assault, contact the Counseling and Wellness Center immediately. During office hours from Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, contact our office at 617.879.7760; after hours, contact MassArt Public Safety at 617.879.7800. If you are off-campus, please call 911.
If you or a friend has been sexually assaulted, it is important that you receive medical and psychological care as soon as possible. Contact Public Safety at 617.879.7800 for assistance to be transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Emergency Services; contact Health and Counseling Services at 617.879.7760 for additional support, guidance, and resources.
If you are feeling unsafe, whatever the reason may be, please reach out for help.

ADDITIONAL MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
MassArt offers My Student Support Program (MySSP) to all enrolled undergraduate and graduate students. MySSP provides all students with immediate, 24-hour support at no cost to the student, regardless of health insurance provider. Students can call or text with a licensed counselor directly from their cell phone from any location.
Student Services Include:
- Immediate support available by phone or text
- Ongoing support by appointment, available through phone or secure video portal
Students may download the MySSP app and complete a student profile to assure free access. Phone access is also available at 1.866.743.7732. (Outside the U.S., call 001.416.380.6578).
