'Women’s Rights' exhibit in Macon showcases international collection of political posters

"As part of a worldwide exhibit, 50 posters spotlighting international women’s rights issues are on display at Mercer University through January. The exhibit, “Women’s Rights are Human Rights,” was curated by Elizabeth Resnick (Communication Design Professor Emerita), a graphic designer, and curator out of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.

MassArt has universal tools and resources that are open to all undergraduate and graduate students at the College, regardless of major. These facilities include the Digital Fabrication Labs (Fablabs) - which include tools for 3D Printing, 3D Scanning, Laser cutting, and a PCLab for 3D modeling; a Documentation Room; an Installation Room; a Lighting Installation Room; Public Spaces

NAIL Expands Creative Department with New Studio Designer Anushka Suji

"Prior to joining NAIL, (Anushka) Suji was a Graphic Designer at 617 Media Group in Boston, where she supported a variety of clients in addition to social justice and workers’ rights initiatives. She held several internships as an undergraduate student both in Boston and India, working on multinational corporations and brands including Colgate. She graduated with academic high honors from Massachusetts College of Art & Design, where she majored in communication design and art history."

"Hurley didn't always plan on being an art teacher, she said. After high school, she joined the Marine Corps. She was active in the reserves for over nine years. She attended the Massachusetts College of Art and Design for graphic design, dabbled in teaching, was a graphic illustrator for the Marine Corps in North Carolina and had a job in advertising."
