Before coming to campus, it’s important that you are aware of our insurance requirements, and required immunization documentation. To comply with Massachusetts state law, we kindly ask all undergraduate and graduate students to submit comprehensive immunization records for our records.
International Students: Unless you are an exchange student, MassArt does not accept international health insurance. All international students must enroll in the MassArt student health insurance plan
Massachusetts State Law requires all students registered for 9 or more credits to be covered by a qualifying student health insurance program or be enrolled in a health care plan that meets minimum state-determined requirements. To comply with this law, all MassArt undergraduate and graduate students taking 9 or more credits must either waive or enroll in the MassArt Student Health Insurance Plan by July 12, 2024.

It is strongly encouraged that all students are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and have at least one dose of the bivalent booster. As the majority of our MassArt community of students, faculty, and staff are fully vaccinated, we know that they are the best way to keep our community safe and healthy moving forward. A list of vaccine clinics are found here. MassArt will also host vaccine and booster clinics starting September 2023 with dates and times TBD.
Please visit our immunizations portal (hosted by CastleBranch) to submit your immunization and vaccination information.
● Students will place a new order with their Student ID number. After signing up as a MassArt student, this portal will be available to you regardless of your MassArt status, including post-graduation, to obtain immunization records.
● All new students must provide documentation via the CastleBranch portal by Sunday, June 30, 2024. Students who have not submitted complete documentation will not be allowed on campus.
● If you have a medical or religious reason to decline to be immunized and/or vaccinated, you will be able to submit documentation through the CastleBranch portal using the website above.
