Student Affinity Groups

Student Group in the Design and Media Center

MassArt is committed to supporting and providing affinity space for students to come together, build community, talk about issues, celebrate cultures, and share resources.

Affinity groups allow students who share an identity to gather, talk in a safe space about issues related to that identity, and transfer that discussion into action that makes for a more equitable experience at school.

Benefits of joining an affinity group:

  • Build community and make new friends 
  • Celebrate various cultures and identities on campus
  • Organize events on and off campus
  • Build your resume!
