Explore the wild potential of cutting-edge artistic experimentation through idea-centered, interdisciplinary, and non-media specific practice.

The Studio for Interrelated Media (SIM) offers students the all-too rare and incredibly valuable opportunity to experiment, take risks, fail spectacularly, embrace chaos, test limits, and experience meaningful growth. Through highly collaborative yet self-directed study, SIM students discover their full artistic potential and work closely with other innovative thinkers and makers. SIM majors work with experimental media, sound, light, motion, digital tools, live performance, public practice, interactive installations, print and spoken word, and event production.

SIM is a magical program that gives students the opportunity to create community through shared experience. Nita Sturiale Chair, Studio for Interrelated Media
