Appearing in her monthly segment as a contributor on The Culture Show, President Mary Grant joined Jared Bowen on August 19 for a lively conversation touching on creativity and free expression in the arts.

President Grant weighed in on the national conversation around the role of artists and institutions, from the Smithsonian to the MassArt Art Museum, in facilitating difficult conversations, understanding history, and creating educational opportunities for students and the public. She also shared a message about the important role artists play during challenging times as the 2025-2026 school year begins.
