Massachusetts College of Art and Design has been recognized among the nation’s leading institutions for art and design education, ranking #3 on Art & Object’s 2026 list of “The 15 Best Art Schools in the U.S.”

Art & Object’s annual ranking evaluates schools based on program breadth, affordability, student–faculty ratio, post-graduation outcomes, and the strength of their creative ecosystems. MassArt’s position in the top three underscores its commitment to fostering inventive, socially engaged artists and designers.
