MassArt’s Ekua Holmes Named Finalist for 2026 Dewey Square Mural

Ekua Holmes, a MassArt alum and Associate Director of the Center for Art and Community Partnerships, is among the finalists selected for the 2026 Dewey Square Mural on Boston’s Rose Kennedy Greenway. A Roxbury-born artist known for richly textured collage work that draws on personal history and community experience, Holmes has built a nationally recognized career spanning public art, illustration, and education. The Dewey Square Mural program has served as a prominent platform for contemporary public art in downtown Boston since 2012.
