MassArt Alum Francesca Santiago ‘25 joins Boston’s Harcourt Bindery

MassArt alumna Francesca Santiago, BFA ’25 Fibers and Illustration, has joined the team at Boston’s historic Harcourt Bindery — the oldest U.S. firm dedicated exclusively to hand book-binding and restoration — as a gold finisher-in-training. The Boston Globe highlights Harcourt’s 125-year legacy of entirely hand-crafted bindings: from hand-sewing book blocks and hides, to gold-leaf stamping and press-forming custom clamshell boxes. We congratulate Francesca on this unique role, where craftsmanship meets legacy and where her creative training truly shines.
