Susan McNeil serves as the Studio Manager for the Fibers Department at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. McNeil also holds a position as a part-time faculty member for the Continuing Education Department at MassArt, where she teaches winter and summer workshops on hand-dyeing.
McNeil works in many mediums, but her main focus is textile Surface Design: hand-dyeing, felting, weaving, and quilting. She is interested in texture, pattern, color, and he art of everyday functional objects and how they enhance and bring beauty into our lives.
