Dondis & Godine Travel Awards
Planning a travel-based art project? Graduating juniors and seniors can apply for the Donis A. Dondis Travel Fellowship and the Morton Godine Fellowship — each a $5,000 award that supports travel for the purpose of completing a defined, merit-based artistic project.
Richard Aronowitz Senior Project Award
If you’re a current junior planning ahead for your senior project, consider applying for the Aronowitz Award. This $1,000 grant supports one rising senior from any major to help fund their senior year work.
George Nick Prize
All current students — undergraduates, graduate students, and PCE students — are eligible to apply for the George Nick Prize, a juried award that recognizes outstanding original work in drawing, painting, and printmaking. The blind jury is led by Professor Emeritus George Nick, and the total prize amount (around $12,000) is split among selected winners.
This prize celebrates two-dimensional work that reflects strong observational skills, drawing ability, and an understanding of tone, color, and representational realism.
The purpose of the George Nick Prize is to encourage emerging artists who create two-dimensional works that reflect strong observational skills, drawing ability, and an understanding of tone, color, and representational realism.
The Genevieve Mcmillan-Reba Stewart Traveling Fellowship
This award supports one graduating printmaking major each year to travel internationally. It was established to honor the adventurous spirit of Reba Stewart and her friend Genevieve McMillan.
Senior printmaking majors are required to prepare a complete application. Alumni are eligible to apply up to two years after graduation.
