Events & Exhibitions

MassArt organizes alumni events, exhibitions, and programming throughout the year. These gatherings provide opportunities to reconnect with former classmates, faculty, and other professionals in the field.

Career & Professional

As a MassArt alum, you become part of a community of artists, designers, and creative professionals. This network can be valuable for career opportunities, collaborations, and mentorship.

Alumni have access to professional development opportunities like Creative Economy workshops, seminars, or PCE courses to enhance their skills and stay updated with industry standards.

All alumni can create an account on Handshake to access job postings and career opportunities.

Current MassArt students scheduled to graduate in 2026

If you are a current student who is getting ready to graduate, you will continue to have access to your MassArt Google Workspace account for 90 days after your official degree completion date. During this period, it is essential that you backup the data stored in your student massart.edu email, Google drive, and/or any other applications linked to your MassArt Google account. For your convenience, we’ve created a Backing up or Migrating your MassArt Google account data knowledge base article, which provides guidance for backing up or migrating Google Workspace account data.

Alumni who graduated prior to 2026

MassArt is no longer able to issue new Alumni Google Workspace accounts. Additionally, all previously held Alumni Google Workspace accounts were permanently deactivated in the fall of 2024. This change was brought about by Google’s decision to end free storage for their Higher Education clients, a shift that has been in progress at numerous schools across the country for some time. Prior to the deactivations, MassArt sent out a number of notifications to alumni with active Google Workspace accounts for whom we had current email addresses on file.

Alumni Email Forwarding Service

For those alums who wish to use an alumni.massart.edu email domain, we have implemented a new email forwarding service which can be connected to forward messages sent to a massart.alumni.edu email alias to your personal email address. If you haven’t already provided a non-massart email address for the forwarding service to the Alumni Relations Office, or need to update the one on file, please update your contact information.

Finding affordable health insurance can be an issue for artists and designers. While we continually look at ways to help our alumni find and keep health insurance, ongoing changes to national healthcare policy can create obstacles.

To help you navigate your health insurance options, we have compiled the following resources both for alumni within Massachusetts and those living elsewhere. If you find another helpful resource, please contact us so that we can add it to this list of resources.

Resources for Massachusetts Residents

  • The Massachusetts Health Connector is an online marketplace where you can compare plans from the state’s major insurers. They are an independent state agency, so you can shop with confidence.
  • The AIGA Boston Chapter provides group health insurance to “members in good standing,” who own a small business in MA or NH. Visit their website for complete details.
