What is Handshake?
Handshake is MassArt’s online career platform for students and alumni. Use Handshake to search for jobs and internships, connect with employers, register for career events, and access tools and resources to support your career development.
MassArt’s Career Development office lists full-time, part-time paid jobs as well as internships for credit. Login to Handshake and take a step towards your creative career!
Login to HandshakeCurrent Students
- Login to Handshake with the same username and password that you use for your MassArt email.
Alumni
- Login to Handshake with your active alumni or personal email. Please note: your former MassArt student email will not work.
- For first-time-users, you will need to reset your password, use “Forgot Your Password?” Follow our Step-by-Step Video.
- If you sign up for an account, please use an active email address so we may respond.
Employers
Login or create a free Handshake account to post opportunities for MassArt students and alumni.
- The MassArt Handshake site is free for employers to post paid job opportunities and credit-bearing internships for MassArt students and alumni.
- We do not accept volunteer opportunities, contests & competitions, bartered jobs, commission-only jobs, or low/no/deferred compensation jobs.
- Internship postings that do not clearly meet MassArt’s academic internship program guidelines for credit will not be approved.
- Postings will be reviewed to ensure information is complete and it meets our posting policy. Postings that do not meet the policy are subject to removal without notice.
