MassArt Treehouse Pajama Floor

The Residence Life program is facilitated by our professional, live-in residence hall directors and our twenty resident assistants. Programs and activities in the residence halls are designed to help students meet each other and create opportunities for the exchange of divergent views and beliefs.

  • Artists' Residence

  • Smith Hall
Smith Hall houses first-year students in suite-style living spaces of 3 to 5 students.

Take a Virtual Tour

Over 90% of all students surveyed enjoy living in the residence halls and believe the atmosphere promotes respect, positive community, and friendship.

The key to a successful residential experience is the willingness to get involved. Students can have an impact on the direction of their residence hall and MassArt through your participation in activities. The Residence Hall staff hope that students make the most of this opportunity by accepting the challenge and responsibility of being an active and concerned resident.
