MassArt students can Minor in Performing Arts, through our affiliation with the Colleges of the Fenway (COF).
In collaboration with the Colleges of the Fenway (COF), MassArt offers a Minor in Performing Arts and Minor in Performing Arts (Dance Concentration). These minor programs are supported by performing arts courses at all five COF colleges – Emmanuel College, MassArt, MCPHS University, Simmons University, and Wentworth Institute of Technology – and COF ensembles.
Course Requirements
- Five academic courses
• Four courses in music, dance, theater or live events production, in at least 2 disciplines
• One upper-level performing arts course in any discipline
- Three semesters of participation in an approved performing arts ensemble
- Five academic courses
• Four courses in dance
• One upper-level performing arts course in any discipline
- Three semesters of participation in an approved dance ensemble
