Yes, MassArt New England welcomes participants of all levels. Classes are kept small so instructors are able to work with students individually. If you need assistance in deciding which class makes the best sense for you please contact us.

Ninety percent of participants choose to stay on campus. The dorm rooms are in air conditioned suites with simply furnished rooms: a bed (linens are provided) and desk. Before you arrive we send a packet of information which includes a list of things you need or may wish to have for your stay (desk lamp, all toiletries, hangers, multi-strip electric cords, etc.). Most participants choose single rooms; bathrooms in the suites are shared by three to four participants.

No, you will certainly not be the oldest person there. The average MassArt New England participant is between 35 and 50, with some people in their early 20s (often between undergraduate and graduate school) and some people well into senior years.

If someone drops, we will call the first person on the list and ask them to let us know (within 48 hours) if they want the class. If that person does not want it we will continue down the list. Putting your name on a waiting list does not obligate you to take the class if a space becomes available.
