The Executive Director of Equal Opportunity/Title IX Coordinator has responsibility for the College’s Title IX compliance. The Title IX Coordinator executes the Title IX Sexual Harassment Policy at MassArt, monitors response actions to ensure that the learning, living and work environments are free of sexual harassment, sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, or retaliation. The Title IX Coordinator tracks the steps taken to remedy the effects of misconduct on the reporting party, including any investigation, resolution or sanctions.
The Executive Director of Equal Opportunity/Title IX Coordinator also provides information about reporting options and support resources, initiates interim protective measures/accommodations, connects reporters/complainants with law enforcement (when requested), provides or facilitates training/education for faculty, staff and students, and may investigate reports.
