Peat Duggins Visiting Lecturer, Animation
Peat Duggins

I’m a multi-media artist and a faculty member in the Department of Animation. I previously co-founded and co-directed Okay Mountain, a commercial art gallery and artist collective based in Austin, Texas whose work is included in numerous public collections, including LACMA.

My drawings and sculptures are included in many collections as well, including those of The Blanton Museum of Art and The Austin Museum of Art. I’m a former fellow of the Massachusetts Cultural Council, and a grantee of The Dallas Museum of Art and the Fusebox New Media Festival. I was as an animator on the film, A Scanner Darkly and my first feature documentary, A Survey of Open Space is available from Devolver Films. Grendel Gander, the Sinister Goose, a children’s book that I illustrated is available from WriteLife Books.
