With degrees in mechanical engineering and architecture from MIT, Meg worked as an aircraft engineer, then as Staff Architect for the City of Cambridge lower income housing programs. Her private architectural practice includes new housing, renovations, and laboratory, commercial and office planning.

At MassArt for 50 years, she developed their undergraduate architecture program while running the design side of the College including fashion, industrial design, graphics, illustration, and their associated night programs, including “boot up camp” as a general introduction of computers to design practice. She taught building technology and structural calculation, Art & Math, and computer-based algebra. As she developed a team of dedicated architecture faculty, a graduate level was added to the program, now fully accredited.

Meg has written for the original women’s health book Our Bodies Ourselves and the NSF funded textbook Explorations in College Algebra.  Her computer programmed algorithmic images have been shown in galleries and universities.
