coco (corine) rosenberg (they/themme) is an artist, educator, community organizer, and care worker based on Massachusett land, known colonially as Boston. They are rooted in the power of the arts in social justice movements, the radical imagination of youth, and pulling from ancestral lineages and spiritual technologies as a queer, trans, Jewish, and disabled person. coco is a mixed-media artist, working in printmaking, film photography, poetry, textile art, and collage. They are the Director of Pathways in the Civic and Community Engagement area where they steward and oversee the work of Artward Bound, the Compass Program, and Dual Enrollment. They work to build and deepen practice across the college to support capacity building and engagement opportunities for historically marginalized students and the broader Boston community.
coco is also a Visiting Lecturer in the Art Education Department at MassArt, a Teaching Artist and Gallery Teacher at the Institute of Contemporary Art, and the Administrative Assistant for the Palestinian Voices Study Group. They are deeply involved in community organizing focused on building abolitionist alternatives and community safety as well as mutual aid and solidarity work. In their free time, corine loves watching Star Trek, hiking, foraging and learning herbalism, and growing as a CNA and end of life doula.
