Bella Bennett is an exuberant educator who wholeheartedly believes that art heals. Learning to make, experience, and exude art is a gift she hopes to bestow on her students, especially those struggling with the aches and pains of growing up. Bella earned her Master of Arts in Teaching from Massachusetts College of Art and Design in December 2023, where she developed a love and appreciation for interdisciplinary artmaking, which she strives to bring into every facet of life.

Bella is eternally grateful for MassArt, which has been her home since 2016, first as a Summer Intensives participant, then undergraduate student, then studio monitor, then graduate student, and now as a Visiting Professor. Bella feels that MassArt is magic for those who need a home for growth and personal expression—for their dreams.

At MassArt, Bella is teaching the first year writing course titled Thinking Making Writing. The theme for her course focuses on successful transitions from high school to college.
