About MassArt
Since our founding in 1873, Massachusetts College of Art and Design has been committed to providing a forward-thinking and challenging education for talented and passionate students.
Today, we continue to evolve in response to the world’s changing needs, offering 18 undergraduate and 9 graduate programs, certificates, continuing education, and post-baccalaureate study—all taught by globally recognized faculty who work closely with students across our cutting-edge facilities in the heart of Boston.
As we look to the future, we remain dedicated to empowering the next generation of artists, designers, and educators through a curriculum rooted in creativity, innovation, and impact.
At MassArt, we believe in the power of art and design to shape a better world. Our commitment to advancing the common good drives our community-engaged partnerships, like our collaboration with Climate Beacon. These connections allow us to apply our creative problem-solving to real-world challenges and forge meaningful links with communities across the Commonwealth and beyond.
As we celebrate our role as Massachusetts’ public college of art and design for over 150 years, we look forward to inspiring the next century of creativity and sustainability.
