MassArt Galleries
We offer a series of venues and opportunities to exhibit artworks that foster academic curriculum, learning and student exhibition experience.
The Academic Exhibitions program offers opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience with all elements of exhibiting art and design in a professional setting. Through a range of student-driven and departmental exhibition opportunities, students gain exposure to all aspects of the exhibition process, learning elements from conception and curation, to submissions, installation and de-installation.
Academic Exhibitions Galleries
The following galleries are managed by Academic Exhibitions, lead by Gina Mudge and driven by student staff, called SAGES (Student Academic Gallery Exhibition Support). SAGES closely collaborate with student curators, facilitate departmental shows, uphold exhibition standards, and deepen their knowledge of curation and exhibition practices.

Departmental Galleries
MassArt has several galleries run by academic departments that provide unique opportunities for students, faculty, and the broader community to engage with contemporary art and design. These spaces function as dynamic venues for exhibitions, experimentation, and discourse.
