Treehouse Dorm

The Tree House Residence Hall at Massachusetts College of Art and Design was conceived with the collaborative input of students, faculty and the neighboring community, as a refreshing, artful and sustainable building along the Avenue of the Arts. It houses primarily first year and sophomore students in a suite-style layout in single, double and triple bedrooms with suite-shared bathrooms.

Students residing in the Tree House are required to have, at minimum, the Titanium Meal Plan. The Tree House is staffed with a live-in Residence Hall Director and trained student Resident Assistants who provide support for the residents and provide activities and events to build a residence hall community. The live-in staff also report building or maintenance issues and respond to emergency situations. On the second floor is the Student Health Center, which is operated by Harvard Vanguard of Massachusetts and is shared by MassArt, Wentworth Institute of Technology and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.
