A Hopeful Palette: Nonprofit Lifts Spirits Even During Pandemic

Liz Schafer ’23 BFA Art Education serves as the Volunteer Manager at international nonprofit Splashes of Hope. Splashes of Hope is focused on brightening medical and social services facilities with handmade murals and artwork.
Her freshman year, Liz brought Splashes of Hope to MassArt, and together, the MassArt Volunteers completed two murals in Massachusetts: one at Shriner’s Children’s Hospital and the other at the Family Research Center at the Home for Little Wanderers.
