Kids and Community Catch the Casting Spark: MassArt at the Watertown Library

Modern Casting magazine highlights MassArt 3D Arts faculty member Marjee-Anne Levine’s hands-on aluminum casting workshop at the Watertown Free Public Library, where MassArt students and Levine introduced roughly 100 young people and community members to metalcasting through portable equipment, moldmaking, and live demonstrations. For Levine, “the goal is access: giving young people and the broader community a chance to experience metalcasting up close, demystify the process, and see a place for themselves in the art or industrial sides of the trade.”
