Boston, MA — March 14, 2025 —  Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Corey Zink as its new Vice President of Student Success and Enrollment Management, effective July 1, 2025. This reimagined leadership position brings together student success, admissions, and enrollment strategy under one division, strengthening MassArt’s commitment to supporting students throughout their entire academic journey and beyond.

Zink currently serves as Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Idaho State University, where he has played a critical role in increasing first-time undergraduate enrollment, retention rates, and degree completion. His leadership has fostered new, innovative approaches to student recruitment and success, ensuring that students not only enroll, but thrive.

“I am excited to join and serve this vibrant and creative community of artists, designers, and learners at this historic and distinct public institution,” shares Zink. “I look forward to getting to know and to work with the faculty, staff, and students across the college and to work directly with the team in Admissions and Student Development as we shape this new division and continue to serve, engage, and support our students throughout their experience at MassArt.”

In his new role, Zink will oversee a division dedicated to providing holistic student support, enhancing accessibility, and shaping forward-thinking enrollment strategies. His student-centered leadership will play a crucial part in advancing MassArt’s mission to provide an inclusive, affordable, and transformative education in the arts.

“Corey is an outstanding leader who understands the power of public higher education and is deeply committed to student success,” said MassArt President Mary K. Grant. “His passion, experience, and innovative mindset will help us build on our mission and ensure that every student at MassArt has the support they need to excel—academically, creatively, and professionally.”

Vice President of Student Development Maureen Keefe will assist with the transition. Keefe, who will retire in 2026 after two decades of dedicated service, has played a vital role in shaping MassArt’s student development initiatives, fostering a supportive campus culture, and championing student success and was recently awarded prestigious NASPA Scott Goodnight Award for Outstanding Performance as a Dean, an honor acknowledging her distinction and years of commitment to the vital work of student support and development.

“I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to Maureen for her incredible leadership over the past two decades,” said President Grant. “Her dedication to and extensive work on behalf of students has left a lasting impact on the entire MassArt community.”
