MassArt is a small, close-knit community with big, exciting options for on-campus living and dining.

Education doesn’t just take place inside the classroom or studio — sometimes the most transformational learning moments can happen while relaxing with friends on the weekend or over a midday snack. Across our on-campus residential halls, cafes, and eateries, we provide students with comfortable, nurturing spaces that promote independent and group learning, as well as rest, recuperation, and fun.

Our residential spaces and eateries are designed to help you foster meaningful connections among your peers. During your time here, you’ll be immersed in a community of artists and designers who will not only be your friends but your supporters and collaborators as well. These meaningful relationships will introduce you to a diverse range of perspectives and ideas, enriching your college experience and making you a better creator and artist.

On-Campus Housing Options

Dining at MassArt

We provide students with healthy, delicious foods that range from speedy coffees and teas for that caffeine boost, to sushi, pizza, salad, and other tasty options to satisfy your appetite throughout the day.

We partner with Colleges of the Fenway Dining to provide a wide variety of dining options on campus and at neighboring Colleges of the Fenway schools.

Students living on campus are required to enroll in a meal plan during the fall and spring semesters. We also offer flexible plans for commuter students.

Students can use their meal plans to access dining locations at MassArt, Wentworth Institute of Technology (WIT), and MCPHS.

Kennedy Cafe, MassArt Dining Commons

Kennedy Cafe features a diverse menu of snacks and meals, from burgers and pizza to made-to-order sandwiches, fresh soups, and bakery items. Kennedy also offers vegan and vegetarian alternatives.

Starbucks

This on-campus coffeehouse provides all the beverages, food, and snacks offered by Starbucks, but students can pay through their meal plan.

Tessie’s Market

Conveniently located in the MassArt Artists’ Residence, Tessie’s Market offers grab-and-go meals, snacks, and household goods.

Beatty Dining Commons

An all-you-care-to-eat dining experience, the Beatty Dining Commons at WIT features a wide range of regularly rotating made-to-order and buffet-style meal options.

Leopard Cafe

A grab-and-go coffee shop that offers freshly brewed New England coffee, espresso-based drinks, and iced beverages, along with selection of pastries and sandwiches.
