Housing and Residence Life

Learning at MassArt occurs both inside and outside the classroom, and residence life is a vital part of the collegiate experience.

The Office of Housing and Residence Life staff understands that the students’ experience while living on campus is at the center of their daily lives.

The staff strives to create a sense of community defined by cooperation, commitment to welfare of the group, and a sense of responsibility to self and others. Students are encouraged to meet new people and make new connections, and contribute to the residential experience by participating in activities and developing new life skills associated with community living.

BUILDING COMMUNITY

On-campus housing is located directly across Huntington Avenue (the Avenue of the Arts) from our academic buildings, provides unique accommodations, programming and benefits, all designed to suit the needs of our student-artists. MassArt housing is available to (first year/etc.) undergraduate and graduate students….

MassArt's three vibrant residence halls are Smith Hall, the Tree House, and the Artists’ Residence.
