Katy Hamm is a student affairs professional, photographer, designer, lover of hardcore and metal music, Taskmaster and Dropout enthusiast, and avid-shoe wearer from Kenosha, Wisconsin.

They attended the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for their undergraduate degree, where they majored in Graphic Design and Photography with a minor in Journalism. They were heavily involved, serving in leadership roles as the Music & Variety Chairperson of the Reeve Union Board, and the Photo Editor of the Advance-Titan weekly student newspaper. In their final year at UWO, Katy was crowned Homecoming Queen.

They enjoyed their involvement experience so much that they asked their program board advisor how to do that job, and were led into a Higher Education Administration program at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. They served as one of the graduate student advisors for the University Program Board.

After moving to the Boston-area in 2014, Katy worked at private and public institutions in the area before landing at MassArt in the Fall of 2022.
