John Intoppa is a program coordinator, industrial designer, and maker driven to learn new mediums and discover new possibilities. Educated at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Intoppa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Industrial Design with a minor in FA3D Sculpture. Heavily involved in the Student Government Association (SGA) throughout his time at MassArt – his work included aiding with the hiring process for a new President of the institution, revitalizing the SGA Constitution, revitalizing and effectively communicating the needs of the student experience while the college was beginning to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic, and onboarding methods of prospective student groups. In his short time between being a student at the institution and returning to work there as a staff member, he worked as a research fellow and industrial designer designing equitable healthcare products around hydration.
