Our low residency program presents two major annual events: the January Colloquium and Reviews, and the Summer Lecture Series.
Learn MoreOur Interdisciplinary Fine Arts program is for working artists and educators who thrive in a collaborative environment with a low residency requirement.
MassArt’s Interdisciplinary Fine Arts program allows students to complete their MFA in just over two years. Two consecutive academic years of Fall and Spring semesters involve remote coursework and one-on-one studio mentorship, as well as electives, which may be taken either online or on campus. Three intensive on-campus summer residencies bookend and divide the two academic years. The final residency culminates in a public thesis exhibition and artist talk.
Our studios, labs, and academic spaces give students across disciplines and programs access to the very latest equipment, tools, and technology.
