Throughout their four years at MassArt, Artward Bound students journey through a diverse range of art programming.

Academic School Year

Students boost their art skills every Wednesday and Friday from 4 to 6pm. Monday afternoons are filled with academic support from Boston Public Schools teachers and MassArt students.

For those in grades 9 & 10, the focus is on the fundamentals of art, while upperclassmen are in rigorous, portfolio building programming with a spotlight on personal expression and independent projects.

Summer Experience

A dynamic, six-week, full-day program with academic mornings and creative afternoons. Students attend Youth Program courses, prepare for the next school year, travel through Boston on field trips, and receive breakfast and lunch – all for free!
