Across campus, MassArt students learn from talented faculty who introduce them to new ideas, mediums, and art-making techniques. Providing one-on-one guidance and valuable mentorship, our renowned educators help students make the most of the College’s far-reaching curriculum. They also give students the tools to form their own opinions and approach problems from unique perspectives.
Through thoughtful discussions and individualized support, our faculty cultivate close connections with students, in and out of the classroom. And, they help foster a collaborative learning environment where each artist is encouraged to ask questions, pursue their ideas, and take an active role in shaping their learning.

Faculty who inspire, challenge, and support
MassArt faculty are skilled educators and world-renowned art and design professionals. Their work is featured in public exhibitions, private collections, galleries, and museums across the country and around the globe. In addition to honing their craft and showcasing their work, they also share knowledge and advance their field by publishing books and patenting new technologies. Integrating these and other real-world experiences into their instruction and advising, they enrich the MassArt learning experience with practical knowledge and perspectives that prepare students for success after graduation.
