Compass Program
We connect and support first-generation undergraduate students with mentors, faculty, and staff throughout their collegiate journey.
Established in 2001, the Compass Program is an advising and mentoring program for first-generation college students. We help guide students during their educational journey at MassArt by creating a community of support composed of peers, faculty, staff and alumni. Our mentors provide advising and assistance in navigating issues of transition in academic, creative, social, cultural, and personal areas.
Speak up. Ask questions. Because when you have those conversations and make those connections, that’s when you’ll find new friends, colleagues, and collaborators. That’s how you’ll really discover your community.Cedric Douglas ‘11 BFA
