When we ask alumni what they miss most about MassArt, what do you think they say? Access. To studios. To faculty. To a community of creative peers.

This summer, you can have it again. Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, we invite you to reconnect, create, and celebrate the community that shaped your creative journey at MassArt Alumni Maker Days on July 11 and 18, 2026.

Here are the top five reasons you won’t want to miss it:

1. Spend a Full Day in the Studio

Reconnect with your artistic side in the spaces where it all began. Alumni Maker Days give you uninterrupted time to experiment, create, and immerse yourself in your craft alongside fellow graduates. Whether you’re revisiting a familiar medium or exploring something new, the studio is your playground.

Workshops offered include:

2. Get MassArt Swag!

Still holding onto that well-worn MassArt T-shirt from your student days? It might be time for an upgrade.

Each participant will receive fresh MassArt swag as part of the experience—a new way to mark your time back in the studio and carry a bit of the community with you beyond campus.

3. Reconnect with Your Creative Community

Alumni Maker Days aren’t just about making art—they’re about celebrating your journey as a MassArt graduate. Whether it’s revisiting your favorite spots on campus, sharing stories with peers, or discovering new inspiration, this event is a meaningful way to honor your creative path.

4. Enjoy Free MFA Admission

As a special perk for Alumni Maker Days participants, enjoy free admission to the Museum of Fine Art for the entire week. Explore exhibitions, gain inspiration from current works, and reconnect with the art and artists that continue to define our community.

5. Attend Evening Lectures and Figure Drawing Sessions

An added bonus to joining us for Alumni Maker Days is you will get to take advantage of exciting programming available during the corresponding week of MassArt New England. Engage with faculty and visiting artists and participate in figure drawing sessions—perfect for both honing skills and enjoying a shared creative experience.

If you wish to sign up for the full week-long MassArt New England experience, alumni receive $100 off the total bill.

Join us this summer and be part of the inaugural MassArt Alumni Maker Days on July 11 and 18. Spaces are limited, so don’t wait!
