President Grant Shares Her Hopes for 2025 MassArt Graduates and Reflects on the Importance of Community

On GBH’s The Culture Show, MassArt President Mary K. Grant spoke with host Jared Bowen about the upcoming MassArt Commencement and her hopes for graduates. President Grant highlighted the importance of civic engagement and community in building a brighter future. Additional topics included:

  • Reflections on the recent Creative Sector Advocacy Day at the Massachusetts Statehouse and the new Business of Creative Industries minor at MassArt
  • On May 10, MassArt will be showing three films from legendary filmmaker Frederick Wiseman. The screenings will be free and open to the public
  • The incredible design work of our fashion students, which will be on display at the 2025 MassArt Fashion Show on May 17
