MassArt and the Massachusetts Board of Higher Education formed a partnership agreement in 2004 that has continued to the present day. This partnership plan has been renewed several times over the last 20 years, which allows MassArt more flexibility and autonomy to achieve its educational aspirations, develop new non-state revenues, and strengthen its role as a cultural and educational resource for other public institutions. As part of the agreement, MassArt tracks the progress of this plan’s proposed goals and objectives to assess changes and implementation strategies.
