JET Student Leadership Team 2023-2024
Aidyn Alvarez-Curlee (they/them) was born and raised in El Paso, TX and is currently a junior in Fashion Design. They strive to challenge the way gender and culture is perceived in fashion and to create an environment where all communities alike can thrive. Aidyn hopes to give others a chance to discover their own passion for design, sewing, and art. |

Laura Buscemi (she/her) is a senior in Illustration and is super excited to be a JET student leader for the ‘23/‘24 school year! Outside of being an artist and leader she enjoys roller and ice skating, playing billiards, and making fun memories with my friends. She loves being able to try new things that help her grow and as a leader this year she wants to help students explore what they may not have had the opportunity to experience before. She can’t wait to get more involved with students and help foster an environment at MassArt that encourages exploration and forming connections with others. |

Sabrine Daunch (they/them) is currently a Senior majoring in Illustration - and is procrastinating on their thesis right now. They are originally from Cary, North Carolina. As a student leader, they are dedicated to creating more avenues for students of marginalized identities to share their artwork at a wider scale at MassArt. When not working, Sabrine enjoys reading weird science fiction novels and abandoning half-finished crochet projects. |

Elias Taborda (they/them) is a senior majoring in Printmaking and minoring in sustainability. They were born in Boston and raised in Webster, Massachusetts. Elias is committed to creating opportunities for marginalized students to be able to show up as their whole selves and share their experiences. When not working on their art Elias enjoys spending their time listening to music and learning more about their interests and the environment. |
