Graduate Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is NOT the amount you will be billed for by the college but rather the estimated and reasonable cost of completing a full academic year at MassArt as a full-time graduate student.

Your cost of attendance represents the maximum amount of financial aid you may receive for one academic year. Students should only borrow what they need to supplement other finances that they may have.

When you receive your Offer Letter in Financial Aid Self Service your cost of attendance will be listed for you based on the following costs:

  • Tuition and fees payable to the institution
  • Art supplies and books, including the cost of a computer (for incoming students)
  • Personal living expenses for renting an off campus apartment (based on the number of weeks you will be enrolled per academic year)

Your estimated cost of attendance is determined by the Office of Student Financial Assistance based on your graduate program and the information that you provide on your FAFSA.
