Graduate Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance is NOT the amount you will be billed for by the college but rather the estimated and reasonable cost of completing a full academic year at MassArt as a full-time graduate student.

Your cost of attendance represents the maximum amount of financial aid you may receive for one academic year. Students should only borrow what they need to supplement other finances that they may have.

When you receive your financial assistance letter, your cost of attendance will be listed for you based on the following costs:

  • Tuition and fees payable to the institution
  • Art supplies and books
  • A living allowance (based on the number of months you will be enrolled per academic year)

Your estimated cost of attendance is determined by the Office of Student Financial Assistance based on your graduate program and the information that you provide on your FAFSA.

2020-2021 Estimated Cost of Attendance for Graduate students (by program type)

Student charges are based on the tuition cost per credit and the average number of credits taken in one academic year. For 2020-2021, all Graduate Programs will be charged an estimated $800 per credit.
