Massachusetts College of Art and Design's Graduate Programs have a long heritage of artistic excellence, exemplified by world-class faculty and a diverse range of visiting artists and scholars. The urban campus along Boston's Avenue of the Arts gives students access to over one million square feet of studio, classroom, living, and exhibition space. MassArt x SoWa, the graduate programs gallery, offers additional exhibition, curatorial, and assistantship opportunities in Boston’s gallery district. The opportunity to engage with a diverse community of innovative artists, designers, and educators creates a collaborative, multidisciplinary learning environment that honors individual student growth and experience.
MassArt offers a supportive community where students are encouraged to reimagine their creative lives and to grow into the artists, designers and educators of the future. Our graduate students are encouraged to think of their development in terms of the impact their work has on their lives and in the world.
