Selections features the remarkable work of MassArt professors who are newly hired or returning from sabbatical. A venue for faculty to showcase their work, often in experimental directions or media, this exhibition is a perennial favorite.
Nearly 10 years in the making, the park, 8 miles from downtown Boston, offers a peaceful wooded area for people of all abilities and ages to stroll (or roll) along a wide and level path, get close to the Charles River on wood platforms, and relax or play in the “sensory garden” filled with creations by local artist and craftsman Mitch Ryerson.
The woodshop is a state of the art facility serving as a safe and efficient resource for everyone who walks through its doors. It is available during scheduled hours to MassArt students who are currently enrolled in a course which uses the woodshop for each class, or have successfully completed one of the gateway courses.
